Our Government is working night and day to open new markets for Canadian forestry products.

Recently, we were successful in opening a new market for Canadian lumber.

Our government announced that we have reached an agreement with India to allow imports of Canadian spruce, pine and fir products.

“The potential market for Canadian lumber in India is huge and this agreement will create jobs for Canada's forestry workers” said Lee Richardson, MP for Calgary Centre.
