The 2010 Lilac Festival…
May 01, 2010
On Sunday May 30th 2010 from 10am to 6pm, the 21st Annual Lilac Festival kicks off on 4th Street in the heart of the Mission District. Last year nearly 125,000 people enjoyed the over 600 vendors while celebrating Calgary’s ‘best free festival,’ with this year promising to be bigger than ever.

For the 5th consecutive year I will be at the festival from the start of the parade until close, sharing information on Federal Government programs and initiatives, seeking feedback from constituents, and of course enjoying the festivities.

The Lilac Festival is a great way to get involved in the community while having fun. I look forward to seeing everyone there enjoying the spring weather, 13 blocks of food, shopping and performances.
